The USB Kaser Jupiter Digital 8 GB Ddrive looks different from other USB drive as it is squarely in shape. It is bulkier and appears somewhat of cheap quality. The USB connection swivels out of the casing and seems to be fragile, as if it is going to break. Care needs to be exercised when moving it in and out.

We found that the USB drive was not blank. It contained an Autocad software with Chinese writings. We could not help wondering if the drive we purchased might be a refurbished one.

The transfer speed was good. The drive however gets very warm quickly. When we tried to use it on the PVR to record movies it indicates that no file system was found and it was not in DOS. We tried to reformat it but without success.

The USB Kaser Jupiter Digital 8 GB drive costs about $15 which is relatively cheap but if you intend to use it with a USB PVR it might not be the best decision. Purchase it only if you can return it in case you are not satisfied with it.
