Keep your purchasing receipts!
Whenever you buy anything always keep the receipts. These are not only proofs of purchases but they are often required when you want to return an item.
Without them returns can become a hassle and you will only get a credit note and worst it will be at the lowest price.
One simple way to store the receipts is to use envelopes. Write down the name of the outlet on the envelope and the year. For certain outlets you rarely go to you can use one envelope for all of them, titled Miscellaneous Outlets. You may end up with 15 envelopes. Keep them together with an elastic band. I use a folder to keep them.
Every time you have receipts you just place them inside the envelopes according to the outlets.
When you want to return a product you just get the receipt from that envelope.
So simple but it will make your life easier should you decide to return a product.
