SAMSUNG announces the launch of the SAMSUNG G800, the world’s first 5 Megapixel camera phone with 3X Optical Zoom, Wide Dynamic Range and Face Detection.
The SAMSUNG G800 looks like a digital camera on one side and a fashionable mobile phone on the other.
The SAMSUNG G800 features Optical Inner Zoom, Xenon Flash, Power LED, Image Stabilizer, Red Eye Reduction, Panorama Shot as well as the very latest digital camera enhancements Wide Dynamic Range (WRD) and Face Detection.
Wide Dynamic Range preserves image data in bright spots to reveal more detail in shadows or backlit areas.
Face detection adjusts photo quality by focussing on faces in photos.
Equipped with its very own lens cover, this sleek slider is designed for a two-hand grip that makes taking calls easy and snapping quality photos as simple as point and shoot.
The SAMSUNG G800’s professional Video Editing features enable users to easily cut, paste and edit their own films. Background music can also be added to the video clips.
It has a large 2.4” QVGA LCD similar to a digital camera and a new Graphical User Interface, intuitive and simple to use.
An on screen display shows various camera indicators in a horizontal preview mode, just like a digital camera.
Pictures and videoclips can be sent to YouTube, Flickr, Facebook via the built in ShoZu application at 7.2 Mbps High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA).
