When Toru Iwatani created the Pac Man video game 27 years ago, he ignited the video games industry, now worth $30 billion.
In a tribute to the game designer (who has announced his retirement from the games industry), Pac Man will be reborn on the Microsoft Xbox. “Pac Man Championship Edition” is the second and final version Iwatani personally designed. It pulses to dance music and has mazes that change shapes.
“Pac Man Championship Edition” will be available as a download starting Wednesday on the Xbox Live service for about $10.
