Nikon is presenting seven (7) new digital camera models at PMA 2006.
The Coolpix L2, L3 and L4 are entry-level models with 3x Zoom-Nikkor lens and a bright 2.0-inch LCD monitor with in-camera image-improvement features, in elegant, lightweight bodies.
The Coolpix P3 and P4 incorporates Vibration Reduction (VR) capability. VR Active mode compensates for major camera movement so you get rock-steady results even while panning or shooting from a moving vehicle. VR Normal compensates for any minor movements that occur during hand-held shooting. VR also extends to movie shooting and helps support faster framing on the large 2.5-inch 150,000-dot LCD monitor.
In addition, the COOLPIX P3 comes with the freedom of wireless, offering Wi-Fi support let you send images directly from the camera to a computer.
The Coolpix S5 and S6 is super-slim, each has 6.0 megapixel resolution, 3x Zoom-Nikkor ED lens (35-105mm, 35mm equivalent) and the new Pictmotionâ„¢ technology that allows you to create slide show presentations with music and transition effects to be displayed on the extra large 3.0-inch LCD monitor.
