The Nike iPod Sports Kit will allow special Nike running shoes to communicate with a new version of the Apple Nano iPod. Information such as time spent, distance ran, pace and calories burned will be saved to the iPod and can be accessed via its earphones.
The Nike Air Zoom Moire line of running shoes will be the first to work with the system, with others to follow.
The Nike Air Zoom Moire is priced at about US $100 and the Nike iPod Sports Kit will be priced at around US $29.
