Nintendo Wii is undoubtedly one of the most popular game console, if not the most popular in the market. Demand still outstrips supply even one year after its launch.
Even though Nintendo is trying to keep pace with demand work is already under way to produce an improved version. The new Wii will have a more powerful processor and more realistic image rendering, rivaling that of Sony Playstation 3. Voice recognition will play a major part in the second generation of Nintendo Wii. It is not necessary to switch on the console to start a game. We just order the console to power on and mention the name of the game we want to play. It will then start by itself. In certain games vocal commands would be necessary. The new games would be more interactive. Your opponent might challenge you verbally and you would have to answer for the game to proceed further. Destroying your opponent might require verbal commands too. There is no doubt that the players will become more emotionally involved.
Nintendo Wii 2 will be another major hit. It will be interesting to see when it will be launched.
