Microsoft new operating system,

is due to come out in 2007.
It will be a completely revamped OS with more emphasis on security. Initially known as Windows Long Horn the project has been gradually scaled down and renamed Windows Vista.
Will the new operating system be better than Mac OS?
What will be the differences between Vista and the coming Mac Leopard?
Windows Operating System has always been to a great degree an imitation of the the Mac Operating System. It has been playing catch up since the inception of Windows 95. Of course both Windows and Mac have their own strong and weak points.
Windows Operating Systems have always been a preferred target of hackers since they are been widely used. They are often launched into the market without being adequately tested. The numerous safety patches which resulted is a clear indication that Microsoft programmers did not do their homework properly.
Microsoft Vista cannot be a repetition of those failures. The delay in the launch of Microsoft Vista may be an indication that there are bugs still crawling around and have not been fully exterminated.
Microsoft Vista will surely impress when it comes out next year - especially for those who are not familiar with Mac Operating System. A fast Start Up, widgets applications, desktop search exist already in the present Mac Operating System, Tiger.
The new Mac OS Leopard will feature Time Machine, an easy auto back up system, Multiple desktops, Bootcamp which enables users to switch to Windows OS.
For the present time Mac Operating System will dominate in term of innovations, elegance, functionality and simplicity of use.
