About a million Maclaren strollers are being recalled in the U.S. after 12 reports of children having their fingertips amputated by a hinge mechanism.
The incidents occurred while the strollers were being opened or closed, not while the children were seated in the strollers.
Models affected by the recall include Volo, Triumph, Quest Sport, Quest Mod, Techno XT, TechnoXLR, Twin Triumph, Twin Techno and Easy Traveller.

Aww! That’s scary. We just bought a Maclaren TechnoXT last October for my 3 month old baby. Are we going to bring it back where we bought the item?
