The ultraportable laptop or notebook is becoming more and more popular. Lenovo is jumping into the market with its IdeaPad S10.
The Lenovo S10 comes in 2 versions: The 80 GB HD with 512 MB RAM ($399) and the 160 GB HD with 1 GB RAM ($449). The RAM can be increased up to 2 GB. The processor used is the 1.6GHz Intel Atom.
It has Ethernet, Wi-FI and Bluetooth connections. There is a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a 4-in-1 multi-card reader and 2 USB ports. It has a 10.2 inch LED screen. There is however no DVD drive.
The Lenovo IdeaPad uses Window XP.
With those prices the ultraportable laptops become very affordable.
