The Leica M8 Digital Rangefinder camera ushers in a new era for the legendary M Series. Featuring a 10.3 MP CCD image sensor (measuring 18mm x 27mm), Leica claims a “low-noise” performance with sensitivity from ISO 160 to ISO 2500.
The Leica M8 has Aperture-Priority mode (shutter speed range from 32s - 1/8000s) and Manual mode (shutter speed range from 4s - 1/8000s, Bulb); Continuous shooting at 2fps; and, a 2.5-in. LCD monitor with a high 230,000 pixels resolution. It comes in black or silver,and uses the Secure Digital (SD) memory card.
