The largest TFT-LCD panel in the world has been developed by LG.Philips LCD. It is 100 inches big compared to the 82 inches from Samsung, the largest currently available. The width of the screen is 2.2 m and the height is 1.2 m. It has HD quality picture, with 6.22 millions pixels and 1.07 billion colors, 3000:1 contrast ratio and an omni-directional 180-degree viewing angle.
