There is nothing worse than having your palm constantly “simmered” or having your laps “cooked” by a hot laptop.
Intel might be introducing a new technology that uses sensors to read heat-sensitive color-changing material inside the laptop.
The skin temperature of a computer system may be determined using a thermo-chromatic material, at least one light source and at least one sensor.
Light from the light source is reflected from the thermo-chromatic material. The reflected light may be sensed by the sensor and used to determine the skin temperature.
The processor will automatically reduces its power if certain parts of the laptop becomes too hot.
