Hi-Tech Wealth telecommunications has announced the world’s first solar-powered cell phone.
The HTW S116 features a 1.3MP digital camera, MP3 player, and the solar panels trickle charge the battery outdoors and indoors — even by candlelight. One hour of direct sunlight recharging is equivalent to 40 extra minutes of talk time.

so this cell phone seems incredible-as far as solar powered goes. the three big questions are: how long until they are slim enough to be convenient? what happens to them when they get wet? and how do you bypass the direct sun/heat issue?
