We bought a Dirt Devil Quick Power cordless Stickvacuum and tested it for two weeks.
It weighs about 5 lb, has a flip-down handle for quick storage and uses a 7.2 V rechargeable battery.
Appearancewise, it looks very nice. It uses no bag and the dirt container is transparent, making it easy to know how full it is.
What we like
We like the easy removal of the dirt container and its transparency. We never ran out of power while we cleaned. It is not very noisy.
What we don’t like
Out test reveals that its vacuum cleaning action is not very strong. To obtain a better cleaning, the rotating brush needs to be on to help pick up the dirt. Although it weighs only 5 lb, it is not easy to clean the staircase with it. We had problems cleaning the corners. The rotating brush unfortunately is not able to reach those areas and the vacuum generated is simply not strong enough to suck in dirt in those corners. We also found that because of its design, it does not go easily under the couch or bed. Its cleaning head would tend to lift up.

The Dirt Devil Quick Power Stickvac is suitable for light cleaning of bare floor and carpet. It is good for a very small apartment where there is not much cleaning to be done.
