The Digitron CD Clock radio looks attractive with its large bluish backlit LCD display. It has a top load CD/CD-R/RW player, an AM/FM stereo radio and a buzzer. Its dual alarm enables it to be activated at two different times.
The sound is decent. The CD player works well with both CD-R and CD-RW but it cannot play MP3. It has however an auxiliary input for MP3 player.
If you need glasses for reading, it would most probably be quite difficult for you to see the displayed time in the dark since the blue background and the black numbers do not adequately contrast with each other. It would have been better if the displayed numbers shines against a dark background.
In the dark the blue display is quite intense. Perhaps for some people it might be quite annoying.
Otherwise we feel the Digitron CD Clock radio is a good audio alarm.
