If you are from China and thinking of applying to a University or College in Canada, do what every smart student should do upfront: do some research to ensure that the school is a bona fide school allowed to grant degrees.
There seems to be a number of private schools masquerading as colleges but are in fact “career training and degree preparation” outfits.
It’s a shame and an outrage the laws in Canada allow such scams to go on openly. And are there no lawyers to offer their services pro bono to help any hapless students who fall into these traps?
Of course, if you are using these suspicious services to get a foot into Canada and then believe you will get landed immigration status this way, good luck. You’re on your own.
