We are what we breathe!
There is no doubt that that if we breathe poor quality air our health will eventually suffer.
Since we spend 90% of our time indoor we need to ensure that the air we breathe are not filled with pollutants, toxins and pathogens.
Cimatec has introduced an electronic air purifier called Cimatec Tox Box.

It claims to filter off particles as small as .007 micron.
Considering that most furnace filters are able to remove 1 micron particles at most the Cimatec Tox Box appears to be extremely efficient if that is true.

According to the National Air Filtration Association 95-98% of indoor air is made up of particles smaller than one micron - including most of the worst toxins, bacteria, viruses and lung-damaging dust.
How it works
The filter consists of glass media fibres and is charged by electrical current.
Particles such as viruses, bacteria, dust, pollen and airborne chemicals like formaldehyde and benzene are caught in the electrically charged fibre pads, which act as a magnet.
Contrary to conventional filter pads where the air flow is reduced substantially the Cimatec Box Tox experiences only a low pressure drop.
This means improved air circulation and lower heating or cooling bill. According to Cimatec a reduction of 15% can be achieved on the heating and air-conditioning and electrical costs.

I BOUGHT ONE AT CANADIAN TIRE FOR $99.00 AND I JUST INSTALLED IT. IT WAS EASY TO WIRE IT INTO THE FURNACE.
