We often purchase those products and try them for an extended period before publishing our reviews. In other words, you’ll read field reviews, hands-on reviews, as opposed to in-the-lab reviews.

We also sometimes receive product loans from manufacturers for a limited length of time to perform a review. We do not get paid to write up a review.

This site is solely supported by advertising that are sourced from advertising brokers and, as such, we have limited control over what is advertised. Many ads display based on the keywords on a page. For example, if we are reviewing a GPS receiver, ads for GPS receivers may display.
