There has been a lot of comments on the Apple iPad, both positive and negative.
Many feel disappointed by its features, in particular that it does not multitask and cannot play flash.
To them, the iPad is just a magnification of the iPod Touch or iPhone.

The Apple iPad will popularize computer usage because it makes its operation so simple.
People who hate computer do so because they find it so difficult to use. And it’s true, there are too many steps to do one simple thing.
Just to turn off a windows-operated pc you have to click the Start button (Who would have thought to go to Start to end something), then to go select “Turn Off computer”, and then make a choice between “Stand by”, “Turn Off” and “Restart”.
So you have to click 3 times to tell it to shut down. Why not just 1 time? You know, what you want to do. You don’t want to be constantly questioned on your choice.
With iPad it’s one step. So simple!
Anyone will be able to use it just by touching the screen. It’s intuitive and logical.
So lot of people will find that a computer is easy and fun to use.
Remember how Wii became so popular among non-gamers.

I am entirely looking to watch for the Apple iPad, and I am excited to see what kinds of gamez and applications will be deployed for it. I just don’t catch some of the nitpicky criticisms in this site. Size of the bezel?? Damn!

I’ve loved Apple products for some time, they produce gadgets that is aesthetically beautiful while working like a each and every time. I can’t say that about alot of companies, it’s usually one or the other. Companies don’t usually take aesthetics seriously like Apple. With that said I’ve got to say that I’m very excited about the new iSlate. One thing I question though, is it too soon? I’m afraid that this may be ahead of our time. What do you think?

My 1st computing device was a recycled Apple III and I experienced a lot of fun with it. Never overheated in one case, although it wasn’t until after some years I got interested and popped off the case, and saw a 2nd memory module which had been rattling around loose all the time I had owned it.
