Sanyo Eneloop Bicycle

2:59 pm EDT on Tue Jun 30 2009

sanyo eneloop bicycle

It looks like an ordinary bike but it is more than what meets the eyes.

The Sanyo Eneloop bicycle, also known as eneloop bike, is an electric hybrid bicycle,  which both generates electricity and charges the battery while in use.

The loop charge function controls the level of necessary power or braking, depending on the incline of the road.

It features a two-wheel drive system in which the rear wheel is driven by human pedaling power and the front tire is powered by motorized power.

The bicycle’s “power up” mode allows riders to pedal up steep hills effortlessly.

This mode incorporates SANYO’s proprietary ‘smooth assistance control’ aid by balancing the bicycle when pedaling starts, allowing a smoother, safer ride.

best laptop or notebook

Will the new compact DSLR from Olympus, E-P1 look like this?

Olympus E-P1

This elegant design could have come from Apple. It has a retro feels and is simplistic, contrary to most DSLRs.

The new Olympus E-P1 is apparently a Micro Four Thirds shooter, complete with a 17mm f/2.8 lens.

How good will it be? We will find out in the weeks to come. It is scheduled to be released on June 16.

Do We Need A Budget?

10:10 pm EDT on Tue Jun 9 2009

There is an interesting article submitted by Jean on the importance of budgeting at home.

No one likes budgeting. It’s a chore for most of us. There’s a joke that says, a budget makes us feel bad about spending money and also after spending it.

A budget is basically a guide and marks two white lines on the road so that we do not get into the ditch.

Whether we have lot of money or very little we need to know how to spend it. Otherwise we can easily run out of supply.

Of course the more money we have the wider the lines and the less likely we end in the ditch.

Nevertheless it can dry out easily if we keep spending without control. Ask Michael Jackson about it.
